The Illinois Student Assistance Commission recently named four students at Paw Paw High School as Illinois State Scholars. One is recognized as a State Scholar by scoring high on the ACT and earning a high GPA. Only 5% of all high school graduates in Illinois are deemed Illinois State Scholars. We are proud to announce our Illinois State Scholars: Lauren Christensen, Alicia Slaughterback, Adam Striegel and Jeremy Tallon.

Lauren is the daughter of Larry and Amy Christensen and she plans to attend Daytona Beach College. Alicia is the daughter of Tim and Penny Slaughterback and she plans to attend Millikin University. Adam is the son of Chris and Donetta Striegel and he plans to attend Kishwaukee College. Jeremy is the son of Alice Smith and he plans to attend Kettering University.
